Maiden's Garden

First I want to say... THANK YOU FOR THIS WHOLE YEAR!!! Time really goes fast huh... it's already 2 years since I first using DA.
If I remember correctly, I only got about a thousand page viewers in the end of my first year and it's already passed 7 thousands this year. I'm really glad. I hope it's the proof that I'm getting better at this.

Okay, talk about the work. As I said in my journal, I'm currently practicing on what I'm not used to. And yeah... I made a pic with a cheerful mood and background with colored pencils. I always fail at this thing. I hope this one pass the standard quality.
Now I realize that picking the color manually is really hard. The hair actually (planned to be) carmine red while her eyes are crimson red. From what I see, it's more pink that what I want. Then the rose bouquet.. why the hell it's white!? I don't know. I just can't pick better color. X<
For the background, actually I want to make a rose garden. But it seems too much for me. (Yes, I tried and failed miserably) The perspective still messed up in a lot of place too... hueeee...

Anyway, thank you for your support for the past years and please keep supporting me from now on.
And last, she's my OC. Her name is Nina. Actually I made her for a -not so original- work but I liked her design so I draw her a lot for practice~ ~^^~
(Hey! I made her and her whole design including the wedding dress myself okay? What's so wrong on liking my own design? Geez)

Most (if not all) of my friends tell me that the sketch is much better... Personally, I like it better BW (set the saturation to -100). And this is the link to the WIP colored ver and the sketch in FB photo gallery. I hope the username won't show up... [link]
